A friendly, family-oriented shooting club based in North East NSW — running regular shoots, community events, and helping members meet their NSW Firearms Licence requirements.
Whether you're a seasoned shooter or just starting out, the North East NSW Hunting Club is a welcoming community where all experience levels are valued.
We're more than just a shooting club. Our regular shoot days include a social barbecue, making it a great day out for the whole family.
We run rimfire target shooting, centrefire shooting, and clay target events (skeet and simulated field) across our four member venues.
Club membership satisfies the NSW Firearms Registry genuine reason requirement. We'll help you understand what's needed to get and keep your licence.
We rotate across four established venues — from the coast to the tablelands — so there's always a shoot near you.

Organised shoots run roughly monthly, rotating across our member venues. Activities include rimfire and centrefire target shooting, plus clay target days.
Range fees are $10–$15 per day. Bring your own ammo or purchase on the day at clay target venues.
Our AGM is held mid-year at a member property, with a free barbecue lunch for all attending members. It's a great chance to catch up and have a say in the direction of the club.
Membership is open to any NSW Firearms licence holder or applicant. Joining the club meets your mandatory club membership requirement under NSW law.
For membership enquiries, contact our Secretary.
New from January 2026: Club membership is now compulsory for recreational hunters and sport shooters under the NSW Terrorism and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2025. Learn more about your licence requirements →
